Running a face-to-face conference in the COVID era will always be a risk. Who knows what conditions we might be experiencing around the globe when February 2024 rolls around.

But we will plan for the conference on the presumption that people will be free to travel and that, with sensible precautions, we will be safe together.

The venue is spacious and there will be no students on campus at the time of the conference, so social distancing will be easy. We will implement mask-wearing, hand-sanitising, and other protocols in line with the university and NZ government’s guidelines.

And if we have to, we will cancel the conference in good time so that you to apply for refunds on your registration fees, flights, accommodation, and so on.

We will always act in good faith and will ensure your safety in whatever way we can.
